Jakob Ahlbom is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science, Stockholm University, affiliated with Swedish National Election Studies, University of Gothenburg. His research concerns public opinion, voting behavior, political psychology, and misperceptions about politics. Together with research fellows at the KR program, Jakob is working on several academic papers on ideological asymmetries in politically biased reasoning, and ways of strengthening people’s proclivity for evaluating political information and arguments in an unbiased way.
