I am a PhD Candidate at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg, associated with the Quality of Government (QoG) Institute. I hold a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala Universitet. My previous work has focused primarily on electoral violence, democratisation, and political institutions. Further interests include elections in autocracies, clientelism, and political behaviour. My dissertation will investigate the accountability dynamics of electoral systems, and assess whether these have implications for policy provision and the quality of government.
